Steep harbour-front garden – Lavender Bay NSW

Project: A mostly formal garden refuge for a 3-storey Victorian terrace on a steep sandstone outcrop overlooking Sydney Harbour. Front lawn with low clipped hedge to retain water views. Paved court at rear with fountain and feature sandstone outcrop backdrop, discrete clothes drying and bin areas, stairways, shrubberies and seating areas.

Project: Formal garden for large waterfront house comprising foreshore native plantings to sandstone outcrop; paths and steps to new jetty; staircase and lawn terrace to pool; and formal clipped shrubberies to garage roof gardens.

Artists’ coastal sanctuary garden – Moffat Beach QLD

Project: Sanctuary garden comprising extension of entertainment deck, retaining walls and steps; a feature art wall with pergola and mirrored “door”; art nooks, seating areas, pergola’d walkways and feature pavements; revamp of an existing courtyard (entry gate realignment and improved stepped entry, green wall panels, decking, lighting and feature pots) and softening of front wall presentation to street with tall standard shrubs which also increase green view from court.

Project: Sustainable garden designed for an environment manager and a chef. Comprising local native plantings at front of house to screen deck; and productive herb and vegie gardens, rainwater tank, chook run, fire pit, outdoor cooking facilities and extended deck / entertainment area at rear overlooking park. Lawn removal to reduce maintenance.

Project: Productive garden for 2 suburban flats comprising vegie and picking gardens; water tanks, worm farms, compost bays and chook shed; shrubberies, fruit trees and edible water plants; arbours, sculptures and water features.
